WARRANTY COVERAGE

CNLC’s warranty obligations are limited to the terms set forth below:

 

CNLC warrants its professional LCD display product delivered new to the original purchaser against defects inmaterials and workmanship for THREE (3) YEARS from the date of original purchase.

 

If a product is found to be defective in material and workmanship during the Limited Warranty Period, CNLC will, at its sole option, (a) repair the product at no charge with new or reconditioned parts, or (b) replace the product with a functionally equivalent product. A replacement part or product assumes the remaining warranty of the original part or product, or NINETY (90) DAYS from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage. When a part or product is replaced, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes CNLC’s property.

 

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

 

You must contact CNLC and identify the unit by its model number, serial number, and date of purchase, and furnish a brief description of the problem. You may be required to provide a proof-of-purchase such as the original invoice.

 

CNLC will first attempt to assist you in resolving minor issues over the telephone or via email. If it is determined that the issue cannot be resolved, CNLC will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) and will contact you to arrange the delivery of the replacement product.

 

You will be responsible for re-packing the defective part or product in its original packing material. CNLC will send you the replacement item and will retrieve the defective one at the same time. Removal and/or installation cost of the part or product are your responsibility.

 

If a part or product is returned and subsequently deemed to have no fault or defect covered under this warranty, CNLC may charge you for all costs and expenses incurred in connection with providing the warranty.

 

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

 

This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by CNLC that can be identified by the “CNLC”  trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any accessory that may be provided with products or any software, even if packaged or sold with CNLC hardware. Non-CNLC manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers may provide their own warranties.

 

CNLC is not liable for any damage to or loss of data or other information stored on any media, or any non-CNLC product or part not covered by this warranty.

 

This warranty does not apply to:

  1. Damage caused by a natural disaster, accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, neglect, improper ventilation, water, electric power fluctuations and/or spikes, and operating the product outside its recommended parameters and/or environment.
  2. Damage caused by service, including upgrades and expansions, performed by anyone who is not a CNLC Authorized Service Provider.
  3. A product or a part that has been tampered with or modified without CNLC’s approval.
  4. Damage to the product due to shipment.
  5. Normal wear and tear.
  6. Latent image, image retention or “burn-in” resulting from displaying a static image for long periods.
  7. If a serial number has been removed, modified or defaced.

 

LIMITATIONS

 

This warranty and remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. CNLC specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If CNLC cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties under this limited warranty, all such warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. No CNLC reseller, agent, or employee is authorized tom ake any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.

 

CNLC is not responsible for direct, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, including but not limited to lost profits,downtime, goodwill, damage to or replacement of equipment andproperty, any costs of recovering or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with CNLC products, and any failure to maintain the confidentiality of data stored on the product. CNLC specifically does not represent that it will be able to repair any product under this warranty or make a product exchange without risk to or loss of programs or data.

 

CONSUMER PROTECTION AND OTHER LAWS MAY APPLY

Some states or countries do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Some states or countries may provide for additional warranty rights and remedies, and the provisions contained in this limited warranty are not intended to limit,modify, or exclude any mandatory warranty requirements provided by states.

 

If any provision of this warranty is found to be invalid or unenforceable, if as a matter of law it can be modified to comply with the particular minimum warranty laws of the state or country it shall be deemed so modified, otherwise it shall be severed from this warranty and the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
